Monique Spicer, is responsible for training  and development, marketing, public relations, web development and entertainment for all events.   

With a BA in Communications and Theatre from Hampton University.  Monique brings a wealth of knowledge,  having the experience with a Benchmark Hospitality Company and having both parents in the Food & Hospitality Industry.

Monique also worked in the past 9 years with a local catering company in Hunterdon County.  She is recognized for her extraordinary choreography and dancing skills. 

In addition to Sparkle the Clown, Barbie, Dora The Explorer and many other characters she has become for charitable events.   She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.  Ms. Monique is a member of the Toastmasters Club of America and has many years of service in the pharmaceutical industry for advancing critical care.


Joan Nitti, works closely with the clients from initial contact to cuisine selections.  Joan is also responsible for staffing and event planning.  So you  the client can relax and be a guest at your own event.

Prior to her entrepreneurial adventure with Monique, Joan worked over the years with many vast catering companies, providing service and overseeing events. Joan also worked for two large corporations, Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, in the computer operations department and Amoco Oil Corp., running a satellite office in Springfield, NJ.

Joan is a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Business School and of the Computer Learning Center.



 

Monique and Joan met in 2005 while employed as servers for a local caterer and knew right away that they made a great team.  They share the same vision and commitment to quality of service.

As owners of A La Carte, they believe it is the attention to every detail that sets them apart from other serving companies.
